Philosophy

Silent art is a term that I have come up with as the best way to describe the type of art that I like to see and make. There is no real name for it. I feel the best way to explain it is that shapes speak silently on a canvas or in a piece. It can be included with semiotic work, symbolic work, non-objective work, even geometric, but it has to have a special silence to be considered as such.
